Bart Muis
Bart Muis started the education Sport, health and Management at the university of Arnhem and Nijmegen after finishing high school at the highest level. In 2007, he graduated at this bachelor education. This education focuses on competences which are necessary to work as a manager in the surroundings of sport and health. Subjects such as policy design, sport management and sport economy are examples of subjects to develop these competences.
During this education, Bart worked for local clubs, professional sport organizations and the Dutch Olympic committee and the Dutch Sport Federation (NOC*NSF).
Sport is important in Bart’s life. He played several sports such as football, jujitsu and judo. At this moment sports like cycle racing, fitness, squash and running are his favorite sports. He sports for his health, but also because it gives him satisfaction.
He wants to use his study to raise the quality of sport, because he likes sport so much: ‘Sport is more important than people think. I want to bring the quality of sport at the highest possible level.’
Dennis Zwartkruis
After finishing the education to become teacher in general and business economics, Dennis Zwartkruis started with the bachelor education of Sport, Health and Management at the University of Arnhem and Nijmegen. He graduated in 2007. Subjects such as sports policy, sport management and sport economy characterize this study.
During the education of Sport, Health and Management, Dennis gained experience within the world of sport. He worked at national associations, local sport clubs, professional sport clubs and the Dutch Olympic Committee and Dutch Sports Federation (NOC*NSF).
Dennis practices especially racket sports such as tennis and squash. Besides these sports, he uses fitness to keep his health high. He also runs on a regular base. He follows a lot of sports through the media and he loves to stand along the sport field. He has a broad knowledge of sport because of this.
His aim is to offer support to all parties in the sport: ‘I want to work for all parties in the sport, so that everyone can obtain the best from sport.’
